We had a wonderful time at our first annual parish picnic.  The picnic was held in Fairland Park, very close to the church.  About 40 people came, including many guests.  The weather was beautiful, sunny and about 70 degrees.  The children enjoyed playing on the playground equipment.  The food was great; Katie was the chief cook, with several assistants.  Among the many goodies were homemade fettucine alfredo, and a wonderful dessert of homemade strawberries with cannoli filling to go on top.  Fr. Deacon Damian and Peter enjoyed the swingset too!  We thank God for this beautiful day and for our parish family and friends.
